'비밀을 말하다'는 tell a secret, let sb on on a secret

상대방을 보고 털어놓으라고 윽박지를때는 Out with it! 을 사용하는데

이때 out은 폭로하다 라는 동사로도 쓰인답니다

또한 make 가 '정체를 알아차리다'란 의미로도 쓰이는걸 눈여겨두세요 ^ ^

 

*go public with sth: 대중에게 공개하다

* show one's hand: 속셈을 드러내다

* let the cat out of the bag: 폭로하다

 

Arial: So you want me to go public with my divorce?

Paul: It's going to be reported in a newspaper soon

Arial:  So we don't have any choice now?

Paul: I'm really sorry to pry into your personal business.

Arial:  That's ok. I'll let the cat out of the bag.
